Proposal for Lollyfication
Installation:
A large, darkened room. Upon entering, one immediately sees on the far side of the room three large video projections. The projections alternate between two different series:
1. Videos of mouths sucking ice-lollies / popsicles, accompanied by an audio track of sucking and slurping sounds. The projections alternate between various popsicle-sucking mouths, with no discernable sequence.
2. Fluorescent purplish-pink light projected onto the walls, accompanied by audio of the sounds of a game of badminton (feet moving on the court, the shuttlecock bouncing off the badminton rackets, the sounds of the player’s breathing…)
Equipment:
· Three projectors
· Three DVD players
· Sound system with several speakers
