TRANS-DANCE #1, 2005
INT. URBAN- VACANT SPACE – DAY

Within a large, vacant building, a young girl appears, moving slowly. She dance-walks through the empty space,
apparently unaware that she is being observed.
She explores the space as she dances until she eventually disappears from view.

She reappears in the back of the space, standing still, barely visible, staring in front of her.
Slowly, she approaches the camera, as she becomes aware of an off-screen person who has entered “her” space.
She peers nervously towards this person (the camera).
Suddenly, she is startled by a noise from behind,
and as she looks over shoulder she sees a dust cloud drifting slowly through the building.
She tries to run away, but as in a nightmare, she remains in the same spot.
Her motions become increasingly aggressive each time she reappears within the picture.
The contrasts intensify as she lashes out angrily, trying to defend herself from this off-screen person.
A sound scape is accompanying this piece.
